The 20th centuary arrived When 1900 was here, It was another centuary It was another era.

The year went along Till came 1947, India became free for which Many people went to heaven.

A high year certainly was The year 1953 When Mt. Everest was conquerd By Norgay and Hilary.

A giant leap for mankind Was the year 1969, When Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon Followed by Edwin Aldrin.

A leap in sports for India was 1983, When India emerged triumphant In the cricket world cup no. 3.

A grand jubilee certainly was The year 1992, When 500 years were completed since The discovery of North America.

And now the 21 st centuary has arrived As 2000 is here, It is another centuary It is another era.
