1. Chicken Noodles(for 2 servings)
Ingredients
1. 1 lb. chicken Breast.
2. 3 tablespoon oil.
3. 1 cup sliced celery.
4. 1/2 cup onion cut in sliced.
5. 1 teaspoon salt according to taste.
6. 1 cup bean sprouts.
7. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper.
8. 1 teaspoon chilie sauce.
9. 1 1/2 tablespoon soysauce.
10. 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
11. 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
12. 3/4 cup chicken broth.
13. 200 gm. cooked drained fine noodles.
Method
1. First of all, remove the skin of the chicken; then cut chicken in small pieces.
2. Now,heat the oil in a deep pan, saute the chicken 5 minutes.
3. After that. mix in the onions,celery,bean sprouts,salt, pepper,
soy sauce, and sugar.
4. Cover and cook it over low heat for 8 minutes; but do not overcook it.
5. Now mix together cornstarch and chicken broth,then stir the stuff until thickened.
6. Finally, add the noodles and stir. Cook it for two minutes only.
Chicken noodles is ready to be served.
2. Ginger Chicken Breast (for 3 servings)
Ingredients
1.3 whole chicken brests
(with bones cut in 1/2 inches, very small pieces.)
2.6 tablespoons vegetable oil.
3.2 tablespoons chopped chives or chopped parsley.
4.5 cloves garlic peeled and meshed to a pulp.
5.2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger.
6.1 tablesppon ground cumin seeds.
7.1 teaspoon salt.
8.1/2 teaspoon Fresh ground black pepper.
9.3 tablespoons white vinegar.
Method
1.Put the garlic, ginger,cumin, salt, pepper and vinegar in a small bowl. Mix it well This mixture is called as marinade.
2.Keep the chicken in a large bowl. Now, empty the whole marinade over the chicken and mix it nicely. 3.Next, Prod all the pieces lightly with a fork such that the marinade goes inside a little.Now, on doing this,set aside this for half an hour. 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium high flame. 5.When hot,pat the chicken pieces with paper towels, and put in as many as the pan will hold in a single layer . 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until nicely browned, next turn over and brown the other side for another 2-3 minutes. The chicken should be just cooked through. We have to repeat the steps for remaining chicken pieces. When ready, just put them on a warm serving plate. Finally, garnish with the chives or parsley and serve hot.
3. Fried Rice (for 2 servings)
Ingredients
1. 1 cup raw rice.
2. 1 teaspoon salt.
3. 3 tablespoon oil.
4. 1/2 cup chop peeled onion.
5. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper.
6. 1 tablespoon white venager.
7. 2 tablespoon soyasauce.
8. 1/2 cup green peas.
9. 1/2 cup half-boiled small pieces of french bean.
10. 3 eggs.
Method
1. In a pot, cook rice and drain water.
2. In a fry pan, put the oil and heat it over the medium heat.
3. Pour onion and stir it well for two minutes till the onions become brown.
4. After that , pour eggs and stir for two minutes
5. Then add salt, green peas, french beans,, white venager, white pepper, and soyasauce and stir it well and finally add rice and cook for 1-2 minutes . Fried Rice is ready.
4. Green Beans with Soyasauce(for 2 servings)
Ingredients
1. 1 lb.Green Beans trimmed at the ends.
2. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
3. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
4. 2 tablespoons soyasauce.
5. 1 teaspoon sugar.
6. 4 cloves garlic,peeled and chopped.
7. 1 dried hot red pepper crumbled.
Method
1. In a big pot, boil beans for 5 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain the water quickly.
2. In a big fry pan, put oil , when it becomes hot, put garlic and red
peppr, then stir one to two times .
3. Finally, put sugar,salt, soyasauce and boiled beans. Stir it for one to two minutes. Tasty beans are ready.
